Maxim learned his trade in several hairdressing schools in Belgium, before venturing to Berlin to complete an internship at the hair salon Design by Berghain. Since then, he’s worked freelance across Belgium, earning a loyal client base in the process. In 2014, he started a new internship at Toni and Guy where he learned techniques to improve his creativity with haircuts and colour. In 2016, Maxim started his project in the premises of Alchimie, where he had his first experience as an independent hairdresser, working with his own clients. After three years with his salon there, Maxim decided it was time to expand and open a brand new salon in St-Gilles. Maxim speaks Dutch, French and English fluently.
Chiara was born in Milan fashion’s capital, where she attended several years in a hairdressing school and started to move her first steps into the industry. A few years later she left Italy to experience and get into the crazy underground life of London. Having a lot of fun in those years and many new inspirations, she crossed the path with plenty of great hairstylists whom she learned so much from, improving her own technical skills. Afterward it has been the time of the luxurious and sophisticated Dubai where she was part of the hairstylists team at Four Seasons Resort; here she gained the loyalty of special and exigent guests and that was important to strength her professionality. Now she is in Brussels, since April 2017, and after making her personality known in the European district she has decided to venture together with Maxim in this new chapter. She speaks Italian, English fluently and understands French .
I studied makeup at Make Up Designory (MUD) in Ghent. I have worked on movie- and tv-sets, as well as doing makeup for photo shoots. Also being an actor I always had a close relationship with the make up artists on set and my other background in fashion design propelled me to building a career in make up. I love the contact I have with people while working with them - finding the look that works best for them. Make up to me should be either fashion forward, or something natural that enhances the beauty which is always already there.
